As above, so below
This phrase — often repeated without much thought – highlights the connection between everything human, ordinary, and everyday, and that which is divine, spiritual, and greater than ourselves. It reminds us that the key lies in finding balance between what we experience daily and the broader context of existence — something that sounds simple, but in practice rarely is. Especially in our late-capitalist world, where attachment to possessions and individual experiences runs deeper than ever, the need to return to spirituality seems equally profound.
In my practice, I strive to help restore this balance. I believe that what comes to us from the outside world mirrors what happens within us – yet this energetic exchange flows both ways. I don’t see energy work as the only path forward. In fact, it can sometimes become a form of escape from addressing real issues, especially when we expect solutions to simply “appear by magic.” At the same time, for those who understand that growth – including spiritual growth – is a complex process that often involves revisiting the same lessons again and again, energy work opens doors that cannot be opened in any other way. The choice of whether it’s time to walk through them, however, is always ours to make.
