About me

Hello and welcome!

I invite you into a light-sensitive space

When reading about gurus or spiritual guides, I came across the term “spiritual friends.” I love this phrase because it reminds us that we’re all here to work through our lessons and experience life on Earth – only some of us have gone through certain chapters a bit earlier, or different ones altogether. This allows us to complement each other and learn from one another in beautiful ways.
A spiritual friend isn’t a teacher standing above you, but a companion – someone who holds space, asks meaningful questions, and reflects parts of you back to yourself. It dissolves the rigid hierarchy where someone “higher up” claims to know more and therefore has the right to instruct others. I certainly don’t see myself as a guru in any sense of the word. The idea of spiritual friendship feels much closer to how I approach energy work – as a shared journey rather than a lesson to be taught. And since that’s the case, it feels right to tell you a little more about my own story.

The Story of Two Wolves

In my practice, I often attract people who seek grounding and clarity in their energy work – and also those who are stepping into this world for the very first time. I suspect this balance reflects my own path, which began in what might seem the least “spiritual” place imaginable: the world of science. I hold a PhD in social sciences, and only a few years ago I would never have guessed I’d be working with energy today. I think I’ve always carried within me those two well-known wolves. The first whispered that I was logical, structured, and analytical to the core – convinced that after death there’s only soil and worms, because only what can be seen, measured, and proven is real. The second was always drawn to something more – enchanted by stories of fairies, elves, and witches, and deeply aware that the best decisions come not from the mind, but from the body. In a way, I still draw wisdom from both. I believe structure matters; I love analysis and well-crafted questions. Yet I also know there’s more than just our earthly experiences – and that some things aren’t meant to be fully understood. And that’s perfectly okay.

Too Much Emotion?

These two worlds continue to intertwine in many ways. To my surprise, I discovered that my academic interests align beautifully with my personal experiences – and even with my current energy work. Starting in political communication, I moved toward studying the relationships between politics, pop culture, and especially fandom – exploring how fans engage with media and culture. The word fan comes from fanatic, and for decades fandom was dismissed as “too emotional,” “too much,” and therefore inferior to the cool, rational, detached stance considered ideal. Through my own experience of neurodivergence, I’ve learned that deep emotions, sensitivity, and intense feeling are not flaws or weaknesses. Still, it took me years to truly accept that – and sometimes I still fall into the trap of trying to stay “composed.” In my energy work, I try to listen to all the lost and forgotten emotions – to let them speak freely, exactly as they are. We don’t judge them. We don’t shrink them. And we certainly don’t tell ourselves to “calm down.”

Light and the Senses

I’m fascinated by the meeting of contrasts – by finding balance, but also by welcoming both black and white at the same time. That’s where the name light.sense.itivity comes from. It loosely references photography – a world close to my heart – while also emphasizing work with light and with our senses, our inner sensitivity. It invites us to embrace our whole potential, not just the parts we like, because where there is light, there is also shadow. This work is tender and gentle, even when it touches on difficult themes. The “light” in the name also refers to the language of light, which sometimes emerges in my sessions and continues to fascinate me deeply.

Do you feel it’s the right moment?

If you feel that now is the right time to work with me one-on-one, you can read more about my sessions. If it’s not the moment – or if individual sessions don’t feel right for you – you’re warmly invited to explore and/or listen instead (see the tabs above!).
